This project involved trenching, catch basin replacement, and epoxy flooring work at the King City Paramedic Station for York Region, within an active emergency services facility.
The scope of work included saw-cutting and removing the existing concrete slab in the garage area, removing the existing trench and catch basin, and installing a new 22-foot trench along with a large-capacity catch basin. Once the underground work was completed, new concrete was poured to restore the slab.
Following concrete curing, a new epoxy flooring system was applied to provide a durable, easy-to-maintain surface suitable for heavy vehicle use.
The project was completed with careful coordination to maintain safety, functionality, and operational requirements throughout the facility.
